Scrambled Tofu

Savory crumbled tofu with nutritional yeast and spices

🧺 What you'll need

  • 1/2-1 diced Onion
  • 2-3 crushed Cloves of Garlic (or 2 tsp. Garlic Powder)
  • 1-2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 2 (16 oz) pkg. firm Tofu
  • 1/4 cup Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 tsp. Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Onion Powder
  • 1/2-1 tsp. Salt

👩‍🍳 How to make it

  1. 1SAUTÉ onion and garlic together in oil until tender in a medium skillet on medium heat
  2. 2DRAIN tofu of excess water and crumble into the skillet (if using frozen tofu, thaw and drain)
  3. 3ADD Nutritional Yeast, Turmeric Powder, Onion Powder, and Salt to skillet and mix well
  4. 4STIR occasionally and cook until desired consistency for about 15-20 minutes (shorter time if previously frozen)
