Scrambled Tofu
Savory crumbled tofu with nutritional yeast and spices
🧺 What you'll need
- 1/2-1 diced Onion
- 2-3 crushed Cloves of Garlic (or 2 tsp. Garlic Powder)
- 1-2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 2 (16 oz) pkg. firm Tofu
- 1/4 cup Nutritional Yeast
- 1 tsp. Turmeric Powder
- 1 Tbsp. Onion Powder
- 1/2-1 tsp. Salt
👩🍳 How to make it
- 1SAUTÉ onion and garlic together in oil until tender in a medium skillet on medium heat
- 2DRAIN tofu of excess water and crumble into the skillet (if using frozen tofu, thaw and drain)
- 3ADD Nutritional Yeast, Turmeric Powder, Onion Powder, and Salt to skillet and mix well
- 4STIR occasionally and cook until desired consistency for about 15-20 minutes (shorter time if previously frozen)
