Disclaimers & disclosures

Please read this carefully. It explains what RemedyRank is — and what it is not.

🩺 Not medical advice

RemedyRank provides general educational information only. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. The content here is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified physician or other healthcare provider with any questions about a medical condition, and never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read here.

In an emergency

If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the U.S.) or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Do not rely on natural remedies for emergencies, severe symptoms, or serious conditions.

Individual results vary

Natural remedies affect people differently. What is helpful or safe for one person may not be for another, especially for those who are pregnant or nursing, have chronic conditions, take medications, or are giving remedies to children or the elderly. Always check with a qualified professional before starting anything new.

How our content is made

Our guides are drafted and cross-checked with the help of modern AI tools from respected published sources, screened against our safety rules, with risky or disputed content held for human review before it can appear. Our team reviews and corrects continually. AI helps us work — it does not decide what we believe or teach. Full details on the About page.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on RemedyRank are affiliate links, including the Amazon Associates program. If you purchase through one of these links, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This helps support the ministry behind RemedyRank. We only suggest products we believe are consistent with simple, wholesome living, and a commission never influences a remedy's ranking. This disclosure is provided in keeping with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines.

How we moderate community content

RemedyRank welcomes user-submitted remedies and testimonies, but every submission is reviewed by a moderator before it appears. We check submissions for accuracy, safety, adequate sourcing, and harmony with sound health principles. We may edit, decline, or remove content at our discretion. Personal testimonies reflect individual experiences and are not claims of typical results or guarantees.

Our editorial standards

We strive for accuracy and clarity, drawing on respected public-domain health literature and reputable sources, written in plain language. Health knowledge evolves, and despite our best efforts some information may become outdated or contain errors. If you spot something that needs correcting, we welcome your help in keeping RemedyRank trustworthy.

How our rankings & vote counts are calculated

The number beside each remedy is not a raw tally of anonymous clicks. It is a weighted score that reflects the strength of the evidence and the credibility of the people behind it. In general:

  • Endorsements from quality textbooks and published articles count for a lot — the more respected sources that document a remedy, the more its score reflects that.
  • Votes from verified physicians and medical practitioners carry substantially more weight than an ordinary vote.
  • Members with a track record of trusted contributions and experience on the site — and whose edits have been reviewed and approved — carry more weight than brand-new accounts.
  • An ordinary member vote still counts, but as one voice among many.

A fuller explanation of the dimensions we score and what can (and can never) move a ranking lives on our How we rank page. A commission from an affiliate link never influences a ranking.
