Garlic Alfredo

Creamy garlic sauce made with onions, garlic, cashews, and nutritional yeast

🧺 What you'll need

  • 1 medium White Onion, diced
  • 1 cup Vegetable broth
  • 4 large Cloves of Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Broth
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 2-4 Tbsp. Nutritional Yeast
  • 1-2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 cup Raw Cashews (For Non-High-Power blender: soak overnight or boil for 5 minutes)

👩‍🍳 How to make it

  1. 1COOK Onion over medium-high heat in 1 cup Vegetable broth in a large pan for 8 minutes
  2. 2ADD Garlic and cook a couple of minutes, stirring often (All broth should have evaporated by now)
  3. 3BLEND vegetables with remaining Broth, Salt, Nutritional Yeast, Lemon Juice, and Raw Cashews until creamy and smooth
  4. 4Add more broth if necessary
