Garlic Alfredo
Creamy garlic sauce made with onions, garlic, cashews, and nutritional yeast
🧺 What you'll need
- 1 medium White Onion, diced
- 1 cup Vegetable broth
- 4 large Cloves of Garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Broth
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 2-4 Tbsp. Nutritional Yeast
- 1-2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup Raw Cashews (For Non-High-Power blender: soak overnight or boil for 5 minutes)
👩🍳 How to make it
- 1COOK Onion over medium-high heat in 1 cup Vegetable broth in a large pan for 8 minutes
- 2ADD Garlic and cook a couple of minutes, stirring often (All broth should have evaporated by now)
- 3BLEND vegetables with remaining Broth, Salt, Nutritional Yeast, Lemon Juice, and Raw Cashews until creamy and smooth
- 4Add more broth if necessary
