Cheeze Sauce - Potato Based
Creamy cheese sauce made with potatoes, cornmeal, and cashews
🧺 What you'll need
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup Cornmeal
- 1 cup Raw Cashews (for non-high-power blender: soak overnight or boil for 5 minutes)
- 1 c. Water
- 4 oz Pimento
- 2 tsp. Salt
- 1/4 cup Nutritional Yeast
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1 small Potato, boiled
👩🍳 How to make it
- 1BOIL potato until tender and drain off water
- 2BOIL water with corn meal until thick
- 3BLEND Cashews, Water, Pimento, Salt, Nutritional Yeast, Lemon juice, and boiled Potato with blender until smooth
- 4ADD Potato and Cornmeal mixture, then blend again
- 5WARM in a pan
