Banana Bread
Classic banana bread with walnuts and warm spices
🧺 What you'll need
- 2 medium overripe Bananas
- 2/3 cups Coconut Sugar
- 1/3 cups Canola oil (or Vegetable oil)
- 2 tsp. Vanilla
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon (or substitute)
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 cup chopped Walnuts
👩🍳 How to make it
- 1PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees
- 2Prepare a 9-inch loaf pan with spray and parchment paper
- 3MASH bananas in a large bowl
- 4ADD Coconut Sugar, Canola oil, and Vanilla and mix well
- 5ADD Flour to the bowl, then add Baking Soda, Cinnamon, and Salt
- 6STIR everything together just until mixed (Do not overmix, the batter will be thick)
- 7FOLD in Walnuts
- 8POUR batter into pan and bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
- 9REMOVE pan from the oven and transfer to cooling rack
- 10Allow the loaf to cool for at least 15 minutes before removing it from the pan
