Banana Bread

Classic banana bread with walnuts and warm spices

🧺 What you'll need

  • 2 medium overripe Bananas
  • 2/3 cups Coconut Sugar
  • 1/3 cups Canola oil (or Vegetable oil)
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon (or substitute)
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 cup chopped Walnuts

👩‍🍳 How to make it

  1. 1PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees
  2. 2Prepare a 9-inch loaf pan with spray and parchment paper
  3. 3MASH bananas in a large bowl
  4. 4ADD Coconut Sugar, Canola oil, and Vanilla and mix well
  5. 5ADD Flour to the bowl, then add Baking Soda, Cinnamon, and Salt
  6. 6STIR everything together just until mixed (Do not overmix, the batter will be thick)
  7. 7FOLD in Walnuts
  8. 8POUR batter into pan and bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
  9. 9REMOVE pan from the oven and transfer to cooling rack
  10. 10Allow the loaf to cool for at least 15 minutes before removing it from the pan
