Apple or Berry Crisp

Baked apple or berry fruit crisp with oat and pecan crumble topping

🧺 What you'll need

  • 8 Apples, peeled and sliced (or 3-4 cups frozen, thawed Blueberries or Mixed Berries)
  • 4 Tbsp. Maple Syrup (or Agave Nectar for berry version)
  • 1/2 cup thawed, frozen apple juice concentrate (for apple) or omit for berry
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 4 cups Quick Oats
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 2/3 cup Olive Oil
  • 2/3 cup Maple Syrup (for Apple Crisp) or Agave Nectar (for Berry Crisp)
  • 1 cup chopped Pecans

👩‍🍳 How to make it

  1. 1COMBINE apples (or berries) with sweetener and salt, place in a 9x11 baking dish
  2. 2COMBINE Flour, Quick Oats, Salt, Olive Oil, Maple Syrup or Agave Nectar, and Pecans and mix well
  3. 3CRUMBLE prepared topping on fruit mixture
  4. 4BAKE at 325 degrees for 40 minutes
