Herb
Goldenrod
Goldenrod lights up late-summer fields with its bright yellow plumes, and its dried tops make a gentle, earthy tea.
🌱 What it is
Goldenrod is a tall wildflower with feathery yellow flower clusters that bloom in late summer and fall. The flowering tops are dried and steeped as tea.
✨ How it may help
- May help support normal urinary tract comfort
- May help support the body during seasonal sniffles
- May help support healthy fluid balance
- May help provide a soothing, earthy daily tea
🥄 How to use it
Steep 1–2 teaspoons of dried goldenrod in hot water for 10 minutes and drink two to three cups a day, with plenty of water, for urinary or seasonal support.
⚖️ Caution
Goldenrod acts as a mild diuretic, so stay well hydrated and go easy if you take water pills; a urinary infection with fever needs medical care, not just tea.
🍃 A note from nature
Despite its unfair reputation for hay fever, goldenrod's cheerful yellow fields are usually innocent — it's a gift of late summer, not its troublemaker.
